Tools for Accessing the Botanical Information and Ecology Network Database

• This BIEN R package allows you to access BIEN data and data products including geographic ranges, phylogenies, traits, species lists, and plot and occurrence data. Query data by taxon, political region or even a GIS shapefile. The package is now available on CRAN and the development version is available on Github.
